What To Expect
It is truly fascinating to see your blood cells at high magnification. Tiny drops of blood will be taken from your finger using a painless, sterile procedure. The blood will then be viewed on a computer screen.
Gareth will look for anything unusual such as: cells being lemon-shaped instead of round, cells with
‘crinkled’ edges, cells that clump together instead of freely moving, and tiny crystalline structures that can sometimes appear in blood.
The analysis also includes observation of blood drops that have dried, observed at much lower magnification. This process allows patterns to appear in the dry blood drops, which can also be viewed on a computer screen.
Physically observing your blood in this way can be a powerful motivator for making change. Gareth was himself encouraged to make major dietary shifts after seeing his own blood in 2005, experiencing significant personal health benefits.
